El mayor incremento este mes provino de Angola, que produjo 1,80 millones de bpd y exportó casi 57 embarques, un alza de 160.000 barriles por día respecto a diciembre.





El suministro de petróleo de la Opep subió en enero impulsado por un alza en las exportaciones de Angola y el mayormente estable bombeo de Arabia Saudita y de otros productores del Golfo Pérsico.

La Organización de Países Exportadores de Petróleo decidió en su reunión de noviembre centrarse en la cuota de mercado en lugar de recortar la producción para dar apoyo a los precios, a pesar de las preocupaciones de miembros como Irán y Venezuela por la caída de sus ingresos petroleros.

Cilindros de gas sin marca serán destruidos: Creg

La Comisión de Regulación de Energía y Gas exige que todos los cilindros estén etiquetados.





Todo cilindro de gas licuado de petróleo (GLP) que no esté marcado con el nombre del comercializador o distribuidor que lo suministró deberá ser destruido, sin importar si está lleno o vacío.

Esto, debido a la resolución 164 del 2014, emitida por la Comisión de Regulación de Energía y Gas, Creg, que prohíbe el uso de los llamados cilindros universales remanentes, que son precisamente estos que no tienen marca.

Wall Street abre mixto y el Dow Jones avanza un 0,21 %

El índice compuesto del mercado Nasdaq, en el que cotizan algunas de las mayores empresas tecnológicas del mundo, retrocedía a esta hora 0,26 % (-12,11 puntos) y se ubicaba en 4.625,89 unidades.





Wall Street abrió este jueves sin rumbo claro y el Dow Jones, su principal indicador, avanzaba 0,21 % tras un dato mejor de lo esperado sobre el empleo en Estados Unidos y unas cuentas trimestrales de Alibaba que no terminaron de convencer.

Media hora después del inicio de contrataciones ese indicador, que agrupa a treinta de las mayores firmas cotizadas del país, subía 35,93 puntos hasta 17.227,30 enteros, mientras que el selectivo S&P 500 se dejaba un 0,07 % (-1,5 puntos) hasta 2.000,66 unidades.

FXCM Comments on Swiss Franc Movement



NEW YORK, Jan. 15, 2015 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FXCM (NYSE:FXCM) an online provider of forex trading and related services worldwide, announced today due to unprecedented volatility in EUR/CHF pair after the Swiss National Bank announcement this morning, clients experienced significant losses, generated negative equity balances owed to FXCM of approximately $225 million.



As a result of these debit balances, the company may be in breach of some regulatory capital requirements.



We are actively discussing alternatives to return our capital to levels prior to today's events and discussing the matter with our regulators.

Durante el fin de semana, en varias grandes superficies, se vieron desocupadas las góndolas del cereal.





“Está agotado”, fue la respuesta que recibieron algunos compradores, este lunes, en varios almacenes de cadena de la ciudad cuando notaron que en sus góndolas no había arroz.

Así las cosas, inexplicablemente desapareció el cereal de los almacenes.

Petróleo de Texas baja un 1 % y cierra en 45,15 dólares

Por su parte, el barril de crudo Brent para entrega en marzo cerró en el mercado de futuros de Londres en 48,16 dólares, un 1,29 % menos que al término de la sesión anterior.





El petróleo de Texas (WTI) bajó este lunes un 1 por ciento y cerró en 45,15 dólares el barril, en unos niveles que no se ven desde hace seis años por la caída en los precios internacionales del crudo que se arrastra desde hace varios meses.

Al término de la sesión en la Bolsa Mercantil de Nueva York (Nymex), los contratos futuros del WTI para entrega en marzo, los de más próximo vencimiento, perdieron 44 centavos.

Unternehmensrekord im täglichen Handelsvolumen



NEW YORK, 26. Januar 2015 - FXCM Inc. (NYSE: FXCM ), veröffentlichte heute sowohl ein Update zu seinen Geschäftszahlen, als auch eine Stellungnahme vom CEO, Drew Niv, zu den aktuellen Kennzahlen im laufenden Monat zusammen mit den erzeitigen Plänen des Unternehmens zur Tilgung seiner Verbindlichkeiten. Richard Handler, Vorstandsvorsitzender, und Brian Friedman, Präsident von Leucadia, haben ebenfalls einen Kommentar abgegeben.



Überzeugende Betriebskennzahlen



Bereits am Donnerstag, dem 22. Januar, betrug das bisherige monatliche Handelsvolumen aller FXCM Forex- und CFD-Kunden 406 Milliarden USD*; davon alleine 30% in den letzten 5 Tagen mit einem US-Feiertag dazwischen. Das durchschnittliche Handelsvolumen pro Tag in diesem Zeitraum betrug 27 Milliarden USD*. Zum 22. Januar hatte FXCM 224.547 handelbare Konten und Kundeneinlagen in Höhe von 1 Milliarde USD.

Cae la demanda de crédito en dólares

No solamente los préstamos en moneda extranjera son menos atractivos; además, quienes tienen alguna obligación de este tipo las están reemplazando por créditos en pesos, dice estudio del Banrepública.





Por cuenta de la fuerte devaluación, que ha llevado al dólar por encima de los 2.400 pesos, las empresas están mostrando menos apetito por tomar créditos en dólares.

Así lo han percibido en los últimos meses las entidades bancarias que ofrecen a sus clientes esta alternativa de financiamiento, según un sondeo realizado por el Banco de la República.

Chiarimento tecnico.

Ho bisogno di un chiarimento.

Ven 22 ho aperto 2 posizioni short su eur/usd alle 21.23 (cambio a 1.234) e alle 22.59 (cambio a 1.209).

Per la prima utilizzo 2,20 lotti (1,95 euro a pip) e per la seconda 0,80 lotti (0,71 euro a pip)

Per farla breve: dopo un primo guadagno ven sera, decido di tenere aperta la posizione e tra le 23.00 di ven e le 23.00 di domenica si è presentato un gap favorevole di 88 punti (da 1.204 - chiusura di ven - a 1.116).

Come mai le due posizioni (+119 pips ottenuti per la prima e +92 per la seconda) presentano un guadagno di: 155 euro e di 37 euro anzichè di 234 e 65 euro?

Come si spiega questo fenomeno?

Question about owing money to FXCM

In light of the Swiss Frank episode, I'm curious about what happens to those who owe FXCM money? Is there a payment plan? Or do they have to pay it all in one check? Or is the debts just forgiven? Maybe I'm misunderstanding or confused about what happened, but if it's all money that customers owe, then it shouldn't affect FXCM's business, it's just that FXCM can't pay up now because they just don't have the money now. That's why they need the loan, not because they debt can't be paid eventually.



I'm asking because it's a reasonable concern that it could happen to my trading account. Nothing in life is a guarantee.

Una encuesta reciente elaborada por la consultora de recursos humanos Mercer indica que para el 74 por ciento de las grandes compañías de América Latina el desarrollo de liderazgos es un tema de alta prioridad.

Sin embargo, apenas el 44 por ciento se preocupa por proyectar el pipeline futuro de liderazgo, es decir, por cuidar el avance de sus ejecutivos hacia puestos de mayor responsabilidad, y el 79 por ciento considera que no cuenta con sucesores preparados para reemplazar cargos críticos en el staff de la organización.

Minimum Margin Required (MMR, US customer), 15:28 GMT January 22, 2015

When I received the recent alert about imminent new margin requirements, I couldn't find a complete listing anywhere (but I did find partial information on this page http://ift.tt/1DoYuNa ). I wasn't satisfied, so I decided to start by looking at the current MMR on Trade Station. The MMR had already changed and I was wanting to know what kind of leverage was available on each pair, so I copied the information from Trade Station into an Excel spread sheet and calculated both the leverage (value of 1K units of currency / MMR) and the margin required as a percent (= 100% / leverage). I first did that on January 21, 2015, but the MMR changed again, so I just recalculated (just copied and pasted into my Excel spreadsheet). The pairs are listed in the order they appear on my TS platform (I did not include CZK pairs because I do not ever plan to trade them because they have a history which includes very large spikes in the spread). The calculation is for data I copied at 15:28 GMT January 22, 2015.



CAUTION. If you intend to use this information for trading, you should double check it for yourself. It is possible there could be a mistake. It is also possible that FXCM will change the MMR again, so you should check Trade Station to get the most up-to-date information anyway. Also, because of the currency rates are always fluctuating, the leverage and margin% will also fluctuate for all pairs which do not have USD as the base currency (e.g. leverage and margin% will fluctuate for pairs like EURUSD and EURGBP, but not for USDJPY).



I am a US customer with a USD denominated account, and the MMR listed below is in USD. (I am not sure how the formatting will work out).

El organismo de control calificó como pobre su gestión en la formulación y presentación de los proyectos requeridos para la correspondiente aprobación de los recursos asignados.

PegInstruction Validation on Entry Order Stop

I keep getting this error: ORA-20115: Stop/Limit peg offset did not pass validation -0.1 vs -1.3

whenever I try to put a PegInstruction on a Stop of -0.1. If I use TS (desktop or web) it allows me to do this, yet I can't do it via the API for some reason. Is this a glitch, or what is the validation it does to generate the "vs -x.x" number so that I may do the check myself before attempting the order?
