Good morning!
We installed the V 1.3.0 32bit API and COM and tested the Login.xlsm file provided by FXCM It worked right out of the box. We then started the MarketDataSnapShot.xlsm file in the same directory. (We are trying to get historical data.) The login process in this Excel works fine as expected.
However, when we use the Get History button with the inputs provided in the file (Instrument: EUR/US, Timeframe: H1, From: 05/05/2012, To: 26/05/2012) Excel crashes and restarts. No error messages other than "Microsoft Excel has stopped working." No clues. Nothing. Trying the login again works fine. Trying to Get History crashes it again. Tried different variables and dates and could not find a combination of inputs that worked.
Any suggestions as to what to try or how to test this?
