This is my first post and any help and advice would be appreciated.
I have had a flutter in the share market in the past and been successful mainly through tips that i have been given. If im honest I love a good gamble and I do gamble on a daily basis. However , I have always had an interest in trading. I have got to a point where I have raised enough capital to invest in the market and hopefully become successful. I want to trade on the side of my current job until i have the ability to eventually make a living from trading from home as my full time job. However , Its took a few years to raise the money and the last thing I want to do is blow it because I love a gamble and to trading without knowing strategies etc. If im honest I think one of the biggest lesson I need to learn is how to control my emotions as I do have a bet big , win big and chase mentality ( if you know what I mean ).
My first question is how did people get into trading and what advice could you give me?.
Im thinking of taking a course in London at a cost circa £3,000 , would this be a good idea / has anyone had experience in taking courses in London. Does anyone know any good mentors locally to Manchester who would be happy to be a mentor / offer advice.
i hear so many horror stories and the last thing I want to do is invest in a course that wont benefit me. Im quite a practical individual and learn best from on the job training as opposed to text book / online.
Also , I need to purchase a good set up as an Iphone and Laptop I take it are not sufficient ?
