problem with risk manager app

I downloaded some free apps from the FXCM app store for the trading station marketscope charts. One of which was the Risk Manager app. I have Avira antivirus installed on my PC and it alerted me to an "Adware Gen" trojan in the Risk Manager app and for me to quarantine it right away. I did because I wasn't sure if it was safe or not. Someone give me some insight as to why that happened? I would really like to use this Risk Manager app with my trading.
