Hi, I am totally new to the fx trading and this forum.
I have got the following question:
I am trying to try and scalp a bit on the eur/usd spot. From time to time I would miss an important move, because I am busy translating or doing something else on the second monitor.
Have you ever used any kind of an "informer" -- a feature that would inform you about the pre-defined changes to the rates, so that you can "catch" the beginning of the day or even hours-long trend in order to scalp.
I am just starting tradings, so scalping is something to try, right?
I am using a demo -- 50 000 dollars and I trade only no more than 5 000 dollars (usually I have about 1-5 lots opened).
When scalping, I open smaller bets for only 0.1 lot and try to see, whether the trend sustains. If it does sustain, I would try and place a larger bet 1-5 lots somewhere "in the imagined middle" of the day or hours-long trend. And I would take out all such bets, whenever there is a small change in the trend.
The other mode of trading for me is long-term. I believe that the eur/usd is going to rise once again quite high in 6-18 months, so I am waiting to place 5 000 dollars in bets (0,1 lots, so that i don't get in the situation of the "false bottom") and let the profits grow to like 36 or something like that.
Please, let me know about the "informer" function.
this post has no limitation. I would be grateful to receive any comments from you at any point in time.
