You're watching the Primary Spike Controller with the benchmark interbank price stats so you can be sure you're always getting the best deals from your broker.
Euro/Dollar’s long term average spread is point 26 pips and maximum separation has been 1.6 pips.
Trader’s favorite pair has declined from the high of 1 0878, dropping by point 67% or 73 pips.
Last 24 hours have been calm in terms of spreads, max of only 1.6 pips took place yesterday at 6:30 PM as the rate rose.
The Cable’s spreads have averaged at point 87 pips during the last 24 hours, peaking at 4 pips.
Pound/Dollar dropped yesterday by close to 1% or 139 pips, but most of the loss was recovered as the rate rose from the low of 1 4352.
Spreads were elevated for a number of ticks yesterday shortly after 11 PM GMT, but you shouldn’t have seen a gap bigger than 4 pips.
Last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 33 and 3.3 pips respectively.
Greenback has surged against the Yen, gaining point 85% or 100 pips to hit the high of 118 38.
Maximum separation was recorded today at 1:15 AM GMT, but 3.3 pips is the most you should have been charged.

You are in the right place to find out if any of the economic news events have influenced the spread levels during the last 24 hours.
Euro/dollar has a daily average spread of point 26 pips and maximum separation has been 4 pips.
Last 24 hours have been bearish for this pair, it has declined by a total of 1.49% or 163 pips to hit the low of 1 0773.
Spreads were sent higher by the US data run yesterday at 3 PM GMT, but 4 pips is the biggest separation you should have seen.
The Cable’s long term average spread is point 88 pips. Max of 8.4 pips took place yesterday and both of the sides were 6.7 pips apart during the last hour.
Pound/Dollar dropped by slightly more than 1% or 154 pips yesterday and the rate movement has been relatively flat afterwards.
Spreads were up to 8.4 pips yesterday during the US data run and today’s UK construction PMI publication sent them up to 6.7 pips.
And last up for this overview is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 3 and 2.5 pips respectively.
Daily high and low difference is 98 pips and it was posted as the rate moved North by point 83%, but some of the gains have been given up.
US data run has had the most pressure on the spreads for this pair as well, both of the sides were 2 and a half pips apart yesterday at 3 PM GMT.

You're watching another edition of the Main Spike Controller where we take a closer look at the spread levels for three non-cross majors.
Spreads have averaged at point 28 pips during the last 24 hours for the Euro/Dollar. Maximum separation has been 1.2 pips.
Trend has been changing for this pair and the biggest move is a decline of point 63% or 69 pips.
Spreads were slightly elevated for a number of ticks yesterday shortly after 11 PM GMT, but 1.2 pips is the most you should have been charged.
The Cable’s long term average is point 88 pips and both of the sides were 6.3 pips apart during the last hour.
Pound/Dollar has been on a slide from the high of 1 4604 and it has depreciated by a total of point 83% or 121 pips.
Both of the sides separated for a while today at 9:30 as the UK industrial production was out, but 6.3 pips is the biggest separation you should have seen.
Last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has a daily average spread of point 37 pips. Maximum separation has been 3.8 pips.
Last 24 hours have been volatile for this pair and the biggest move is a rise of point 73% or 85 pips.
Spreads peaked today at 1:16 in the morning as the rate was near the daily high, but anything far above the max of 3.8 pips shouldn’t be tolerated.

It’s a new year and Dukascopy Forex TV Team is back with the first edition of the primary Spike Controller.
Euro/Dollar’s long term average spread is point 36 pips and both of the sides were 1.9 pips apart during the last 4 hours.
Start of this year has been Euro bullish and the pair has gained more than 1% or 120 pips.
Despite the volatile rate movement, spreads have been generally calm, peaking at only 1.9 pips shortly after 8 o’clock as the rate moved up.
The Cable’s spreads have averaged at 1.09 pips during the last 24 hours, peaking at 5.4 pips during the last hour.
Pound/Dollar has been on a rise from the early low of 1 4693 and it has gained point 63% or 92 pips.
A couple of news reports regarding the UK economy were out today at 9:30 in the morning and that’s the time of the peak spread, but you shouldn’t have seen a gap bigger than 5.4 pips.
Last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has a daily average of point 39 pips and maximum separation has been 3 pips.
This pair has dropped from the early high of 120 47 by a total of 1.47% or 177 pips.
Spreads were elevated shortly after 6 o’clock in the morning, but make sure your broker hasn’t charged you more than 3 pips.

Start of this week has been euro bearish and the pair has declined by point 89% or close to 100 pips to hit the low of 1 0872.
Spreads were slightly elevated yesterday shortly after 11 PM GMT, but 3.9 pips is the most you should have been charged.
The Cable’s long term average is 1.41 pips and both of the sides were 7.4 pips apart yesterday.
Pound/Dollar has been on a rise from the low of 1 4492 and the pair has gained point 63% or 91 pips.
Both of the sides were separated for a while yesterday at 11 PM GMT, but 7.4 pips is the biggest separation you should have seen.
Last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 71 and 6 pips respectively.
Greenback has gained ground against the Yen and the pair shot up by slightly more than 1% or 123 pips.
Spreads peaked today at 1:15 in the morning, but anything far above the max of 6 pips shouldn’t be tolerated.

It’s time for Friday’s primary Spike Controller, providing you with the benchmark interbank price data for this week’s last trading day.
Euro/Dollar has a daily average spread of point 29 pips and maximum separation has been 2 and a half pips.
Euro surged against the Buck yesterday by slightly more than 1% or 114 pips to reach the high of 1 0940, but the pair has given up most of the gains.
US jobless claims report has had the most influence on the spreads for this pair, but you shouldn’t have seen a separation bigger than 2.5 pips.
The Cable’s long term average and maximum spreads are point 91 and 7.9 pips respectively.
Last 24 hours have been bullish for the Pound/Dollar, this pair has gained point 78% or 113 pips.
Spreads were elevated for a number of ticks yesterday as the US jobless claim report was out, but 7.9 pips is the most you should have been charged.
And last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has a daily average spread of point 37 pips. Maximum separation has been 5 pips.
Daily high and low difference is 117 pips and it was recorded as the rate moved North by 1%.
Spreads peaked yesterday at 1:15 PM GMT as the rate surged, but anything far above the max of 5 pips shouldn’t be tolerated.

Stay on top of your trades by watching the primary Dukascopy Spike Controller, providing you with the benchmark interbank price data.
Euro/Dollar’s spreads have averaged at point 29 pips during the last 24 hours, peaking at 2.8 pips.
Single currency has rallied and the pair has gained a total of 1.45% or 155 pips to reach the high of 1 0870.
Economic calendar has been busy and the US data run sent the spreads higher yesterday at 3 PM GMT.
Both of the sides separated before a rise, but you shouldn’t have seen a gap bigger than 2.8 pips.
The Cable’s long term average spread is point 93 pips and maximum separation has been 6.6 pips.
Pound/Dollar has been moving lower from the high of 1 4667 and it has depreciated by point 73% or 107 pips.
The US data run sent the spreads higher yesterday at 3PM GMT here as well, but 6.6 pips is the biggest separation you should have seen.
Last up is the Dollar/Yen, which has long term average and maximum spreads of point 38 and 6.9 pips respectively.
Greenback has dropped against the Yen and this pair was down by a total of 1.21% or 144 pips.
Spreads were elevated for a while yesterday at 3 PM GMT here as well, but make sure your broker hasn’t increased them above the daily max of 6.9 pips.
