Midday Snapshot

[unable to retrieve full-text content]

This is the Dukascopy Midday Snapshot where we take a look at how the market players have performed over the 12 hours to noon.
Euro/Dollar has declined by a total of 44 pips and the rate stood point 19% in the red at midday as it rose from the daily low. Traded volume is 23% up from the pair’s monthly average and the neutral sentiment of the traders is 3% short. Downward pressure has been stronger so far, making profits more likely for those who had short positions.
Pound/Dollar had a couple of attempts to move higher, but a late slide took the rate point 29% in the red at noon. The Cable sees a typical amount of funds and the bullish sentiment of the traders is 20% long. Late slide has brought risks for investors.
Dollar/Yen rose sharply during the early trading hours and it has been relatively flat afterwards. Traded volume is average and the neutral sentiment of the market players is just 8% long. Early surge makes a successful morning session more likely for bullish market players.
Pound/Yen reached the daily high of 171 30 shortly after 9 o’clock, but the following slide has wiped out all of the gains. Trading has been active, volume is high and most of the traders have been forecasting the rate to head higher. Traders had their chances in a couple of rises, before the daily high was reached.
Euro/Yen has been calmer than usual, rising by 52 pips early on and it was only slightly in the green at noon. This pair sees 23% less than typical funds and the neutral sentiment of the market players is 10% long. Early hours provided some chances for bulls, but the generally flat rate movement and slow trading is what should limit any moves in funds.

Morning session is over on this Tuesday so let’s find out how it has been shaping up for the currency traders.
Euro/Dollar has declined by a total of 87 pips and it was point 63% in the red at noon. Traded volume is average and the neutral sentiment of the traders is just 3% long. Bearish rate movement has provided plenty of profit chances for those who had short positions.
Pound/Dollar moved South as well and a loss of point 3% was posted at midday. The Cable has attracted an average amount of funds and sentiment of the traders is neutral, but short positions are up by 7%. A successful morning session is very much likely for bears.
Dollar/Yen has retreated from the early high and it was point 44% down from the opening level at 12 o’clock. Trading has been active, volume is high and most of the traders have been forecasting the rate to head lower. It did go per those forecasts, providing plenty of chances for a successful morning session.
Pound/Yen’s downtrend has resulted in a loss of point 73%. This pair sees 55% more than average funds and sentiment of the traders is bearish, short positions are in the lead by 17%. Downtrend has lasted for hours, suggesting profits for investors.
Euro/Yen has plummeted by 162 pips and the pair stood more than 1% in the red after 12 hours of trading. This instrument sees 20% less than typical funds and short positions dominate by 40% among traders. Steep decline has provided plenty of profit chances and only the calm trading is what limits upside potential.
I’m Louise McCauley and this concludes the Midday Snapshot for Tuesday. We`ll be updating these stats on an hourly basis, so stay tuned.

Find out how trading has been shaping up for market players during the morning session on this Tuesday by watching the Dukascopy Midday Snapshot.
Euro/Dollar rose by 59 pips to hit the high of 1 09, but a following slide took the rate back below the opening level. Traded volume is average and the neutral sentiment of the traders is just 3% short. Both trends have lasted for hours, providing both sides with their profit opportunities.
Pound/Dollar’s day has been bearish and a loss of point 76% was recorded at midday. The Cable sees 55% more than usual funds and most of the traders have been forecasting the rate to head higher. Steep decline makes losses more likely for investors.
Dollar/Yen’s trend has been changing and the rate was back near the opening level at 12 o’clock. Traders have used more than double the monthly average funds and sentiment of the traders is neutral, just 2% long. Success depends on the timing of the trades as the trend has been changing.
Pound/Yen has been on a slide and it has resulted in a loss of point 73%. Market players have traded 31% more than average funds on this pair and the neutral sentiment is just 5% long. Steep slide has provided plenty of profit chances for those who had short positions.
Euro/Yen’s day has been slow – high and low difference is just 36 pips and traded volume is extremely low. Sentiment of the traders is neutral, 5% long. Rate movement has been flat and trading passive, so both profits and losses shouldn’t be significant.
I’m Jessica Walker and that’s it for Tuesday’s Midday Snapshot. Stay tuned for the hourly updates to track the latest changes in trader performance throughout the day.

Midday Snapshot

The Dukascopy TV Team is once again bringing you the Midday Snapshot where we take a look at how the market players have performed over the 12 hours to noon.
Euro/Dollar surged after 8 o’clock and the pair stood point 83% in the green at noon. This pair has attracted 57% more than typical funds and the neutral sentiment of the traders is 2% long. Late surge makes a successful morning session more likely for traders that had long positions.
The Cable has been heading South and a loss of point 42% was posted at midday. Pound/Dollar’s volume is 43% up from the monthly average and the neutral sentiment of the traders is 6% long. Downtrend has provided plenty of profit chances for those who had short positions.
Dollar/Yen’s day has been bearish and the pair was point 94% in the red at 12 o’clock. Trading has been active, volume is high and the neutral sentiment of the traders is 2% short. Trading should be successful for those who had short positions as the rate has been moving lower.
Pound/Yen has been on a slide and it has resulted in a loss of 1.36%. Traded volume is a massive 210% up from the monthly average and sentiment of the traders is bearish, most have been forecasting the rate to move lower. It did go per those forecasts, making profits very much likely for investors.
Euro/Yen recovered after dropping to the low of 126 79 and it was point 11% in the red at noon. Trading has been slow here, volume is extremely low and the sentiment of the traders is bearish, 17% short. Traders had their chances during the drop, but the passive trading is the limiting factor.
