Day trading silver

I am new to all of this, so bear with me, My intrest is in day trading silver. I just want to buy and sell at will, not intrested in monthly contracts. I want to learn the best way to buy and sell daily. I just joined today and am feeling my way around this site.

I plan to practice for a month. before I jump in. What is a reasonable amount to start with and make money? I have $20,000 to play with. Any advice would be helpful.
