Why does that happen?

Take the FOMC minutes, you don't even have time to read the headline and the rates are bouncing like Tigger on steroids!



How is anyone capable of reading, let alone digesting, any of the information so quickly and then making a decision what to do with that information regarding their trades?



What is it that makes such enormous moves in the market and how is it possible to do that. Most times when I want to get in on a move I just get told that the market is closed or the prices are invalid.
